专辑简介

The illusive slayer of the dance floor is back with another installation of an epic bass line symphony dedicated to the chemical generation. Just having wrapped up 'Chapter 3' 'Micky Blue' is back with 'Let Me Be Free'. The A-side killer shows off Micky Blue's musical talents of piano playing, showing a sign of his dirty little secret. Yes its finally coming people out you heard it here first! 'Micky Blue' after completing his contemporary fine art degree began his music career in the classroom; that is as a secondary school teacher in his hometown. The job gave him an excellent opportunity to practise his skills on the keys and developing his musical knowledge across the board. So you take him as responsible for the mass craze in tech/deep-house with the younger generation in Sheffield. The track itself bounces off the shelf with a huge bass line and killer production, taken passenger to sensual female vocal building up to a monumental breakdown. 'Lazy Afternoon' also includes his fine piano playing this time on his B-3. This track is a lot techier than the A-side firework, I guess he just can't resist creating that bounce on his tracks which he finds irresistible. Now this track is focused around the percussion side of things. Micky Blue started off drumming in a youth jazz orchestra then progressing on to an indie band called 'The Seven Hills' (named after his hometown off course). Having toured all over the UK he thought he'd have a go at playing percussion in bars for a bit of extra cash to get him through his student years; that is after witnessing an illustrious percussionist for Hed-Kandi one night who he thought was terribly mediocre at best! So the track features live samples recorded in his studio of him rocking the congas bringing 'The Bongo Businessman' back in business! So if you get chance to see Micky Blue this summer look out for a percussion set near the booth, and you know you're in for spectacular performance to this track.
