Sun comes in through the kitchen window

Worn out slippers and a faded house coat

He finds his favourite chair

Like he's done everyday for years

Walks in says good morning honey

With his crossword puzzle and a cup of coffee

But he just stares at the woman he's loved for years

He don't remember that he likes his coffee black

She fights back the tears and says 'I'll be right back
