贵概是缅甸中离中国云南很近的一个小镇，在一个位处偏远倚山寒冷的高原上，是中国与缅甸贸易交流的必经之处，小镇之外的山区更是反叛军的居集地，从出生到现在已经历五十余年，战乱却从未停息过。

贵概也是我的出生地，虽然长大之后就离开了家乡，但还是一直持续关心这里的状况，也想透过儿时的经历与回忆写这首曲子，鼓励年轻人能够勇敢的走出来，不要被充满战乱的烟雾而让自己迷失了方向，永远保留最简单纯朴的心，不要忘了心中的梦想，就能找到真正的自由。
