Getting in fights with dogs in the alley

Just try to find a place you can sleep

The trauma that you must experience it goes deep

You ain’t got no collar you ain’t got no leash

People they be looking at you like you a beast

Damn they don’t feel no love

When they see you looking dirty in the streets they judge

Little do they know it’s hard out on your own

And all you really need is a place to call home

**** is crazy they be fighting with the raccoons

Fighting for a scrap of food because they have to

Nobody’s filling up they bowl

Now all that trauma it be filling up they soul

You don’t normally hear a cute meow

More so you be hearing a hiss

Sounding like this cause they life it feels like ****

All they need is a owner somebody to assist

To help them through the fog and mist
