Into this open world

And welcomed into

Arms of love and warmth

We took were steadied as

They held us near

And helped us on a path

When we learn to walk

We fall not once but twice

And scraped our knees

Though it sometimes hurt

There is something to be found

At every turn and corner so unknown

Filling pages of a book

With a smile

Each time is precious

When we laugh or cry

Learning to understand

The reason why

Is just a part of life

Easy to take the good things in stride

We start to forget

To thank those who tried to help

Or disagreed but it's all right

It can be found
