What's up y'all SoMo here

You just finished my album, 9 Lives

And I wanna say thank you for listening

I thought it would be cool to kind of bring things back

I grew up, you know, in the 2000s listening to DVD commentary

Um, and I thought it would be cool to do that on this project

So, hi, I'm Joseph Anthoy Somers-Morales

A lot of people wonder where SoMo comes from, and

It comes from an old football nickname

'Cause as you just heard my name is pretty damn long

So, SoMo is Somers-Morales, S-O-M-O

A little bit about me, yeah

And I'm just a small town country boy from Texas

You heard that in "Small Town"

I grew up playing high school football

And I actually was born in Austin, I spent half my life there

And then, you know the second half in Denison, Texas

Uh, got a lot of my work ethic from people out there, and

I believe in work ethic

And I feel like that's what brought this album to life

Um, just writing these songs and diving deep into my soul

And- and finding the words

And later going on and making it with my main producer Cody Tarpley

Which we'll get into on the next few tracks, but

I just wanna say thank you and thanks for listening
