One of the first Memphis rappers to make the major-label jump,Gangsta Pat never attained the acclaim of fellow Memphis pioneers Threee 6 Mafia and Eightball& MJG, yet he remains noteworthy for his trailblazing. Pat career began promisingly when Atlantic signed his album #1 Supect(1991).
Pat moved from Atlantic to Indi Power House Power Records in 1992, releasing four albums, All About Comming Up, Sex, Money&Murder(1994), Deadly verses(1995)and Homicidal Lifestyle in (1997). These last four albums were underground hits. Gangsta Pat made his mark as one of the true undergroung Kings in the class with N.W.A, UGK, and the Ghetto Boys.
