Astral- electronic metal group was created in 1998 by Vlada Astral- keyboards and vocals and Charlie Roccaforte- guitars. The idea was to connect power of metal with the spirit of electronica, generating a new style of music that would unite progressive thinkers in one frame of mind.
First Astral album, "Phenomena," was released in 1999. It was solo keyboard album in the best traditions of dream dance with the elements of orchestration.
"Radiation method" album was released in 2000 with 13 electronic metal (keyboard and guitar) tracks and was nominated by Just Plain Folks as the best album of the year.
"Antimatter,” keyboard-oriented metal album was released in the spring of 2002.
“Formula of Love” album was released in 2010. This was our first album as a full band with live drummer, 2 guitarists, keyboard and female vocals.
In 2008 Astral was joined by outstanding keyboardist Christian Garthright, and legendary guitarist Jay Rakes. The artists in this album are as follows

The goal of this album was to bring attention of the social issue of mental health. Schizoaffective features the following songs:

3. Love is Blind (Influenced by Vanilla Sky movie- euro-metal)

7. Zetia Experiment (fusion of dance, elements of dubstep and Indian vocals)

9. Welcome to Ukraine (This song written in support of independence movement in Ukraine. It talks about Chernobyl nuclear accident, Maydan revolution as well as war in Donetsk with separatists and Russian involvement).
10. Schizoaffective (the song about a man with schizoaffective bipolar disorder. He follows women on the streets at night, fantasizing about taking them home for experiments, but always ends up at home alone and experiments on himself. One day, he experiences mental crisis but his psychiatrist is not available. What would happen? The songs addresses issue of availability of mental health care).
11. PTSD (Social issues of the veterans returning from war in need of support and mental health services).
