Ian Frank is next up on the new generation of Diverted - with a quality, dark and tech-trance bomb, "Be A Child".
Theres no child's play with this track though (damn cheesey pun), its dark, twisted and the chopped up vocal works well with the driving beats and vicious bassline. Diverted once again shows how "Diverse" the releases will be. Ian Frank has tossed up a smashing track here - with tough and energetic remixes from new kids on the block, Indecent Noise, and Vodka - who by now, must surely be in your CD wallets with their brilliant works in the last 12 months.
Indecent Noise has turned in, and he himself quotes "one of my best remixes to date". An absolute belter here, with one of the best bassline's I've certainly heard in a long time - definately going to destroy dancefloors with this! Think DJ Choose - and your not far off the mark! Vodka, turns in a more tribal, yet uplifting remix - with brilliant piano stabs, but keeping faithful to the originals - very very dark and chunky!
Lets not forget the original mixes here - albeit, perhaps not as strong, they are certainly different. The Dub Mix will surprise trancers, as the melody is bubbly, and yet, so dark - as it takes a U-Turn and unleashes the chopped up vocals from "LS" to full effect! The package is rounded off by the more commercial original mix - for those of you who like the more commercial sound. Don't say I didn't warn you! A nice overall package here!
