Little Grey Sheep is Danny's fifth album. Recorded and produced in Charlottesville, VA at the home of Danny's good friend (and brilliant songwriter) Paul Curreri. This album (perhaps more than any of the previous ones, even) holds true to Danny's aesthetic of intimate production. The arrangements are sparse and organic and tasteful and serve as delicate backdrops for the Songs. Featured prominently on many of the tracks is the ethereal vocal harmony of the amazing Joia Wood . . . back from musical hiatus. As for this collection of songs . . . they are, perhaps, more personal and accessible than Danny's last couple of records . . . simpler, prettier, and more sing-song.
