Hi! My name is Bob. Some folks call me Cowboy Bob. I make music with my good buddies in a band called Cowboy Bob and Trailer Trash. We play country and bluegrass music. Don't get it in your head that we're some kind of rockabilly band, 'cause we're not. Just cause we have a stand-up bass don't mean we're gonna cover 'Blue Suede Shoes' or call each other 'cats' or 'daddy-o'. No Sir! We're not cats, we're mangy old dogs and we like it that way. We've been around since 2007. It all started when I was asked to play some country music at a bar. I called up my pals and we got to practising. In the end, the concert was cancelled but by that time we were having so much damn fun we couldn't call it quits. Our band is based in the heart of Thuringia in Jena Germany. I have been living here since 2003 where I met my woman and we got hitched. She's still the best damn woman I ever met. In fact, I'm not originally from Germany. I was born in Arizona in the good old US of A. As a child, my family moved around quite a bit and I spent the better part of my childhood in Tennessee Colony Texas where my Dad worked as a prison guard. That's where our 'Trailer Trash' name comes from, cause by God, I grew up in a trailer! I'd like to introduce my trailer trash buddies: smacking the four string dog house is filthy Fill-up. Mr Broke plays the western guitar. Ralf picks the banjo and also strums his old acoustic guitar. Guido makes the pedal steel whine and moan and Marc bangs and rattles his drum set. I like to sing and sometimes I'll play up my electric or dobro guitar to round things out. I should mention that we're all good pals and are known to drink one... two... twenty beers every once in a while. Our songs are based on real stories and that's God's good truth. We like to keep our music honest and we're sure you'll think the same. So, enough about us! Listen to our record, 'cause we're mighty proud of it.
