The enemy of our souls wants us to believe that because of our sins, God has rejected us and that we may as well give up trying to please him. Not true! That is just another one of the devil’s lies. God is very merciful! He does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our actions. He is not willing that even one person should not make heaven, but that everyone should come to repentance and inherit the eternal life and rewards he has promised. Never, ever give up, no matter how far you have fallen away from God. He is always waiting with open arms to receive you. From Daniel: About “El Shaddai” “El Shaddai” means “God Almighty” or “All Sufficient.” I wrote this song from the inspiration I gathered during a time of worship and reflection of just who God is. He is the Almighty, Omnipotent, Powerful, Merciful loving Father and Lord over all creation. My prayer is that this song will draw you into worship and help you think about the divine qualities of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Remember, exalting God melts away worry, fear and doubt, and replaces each with hope, confidence and faith.
