'You Can't Buy Back Your Life' is the second studio album from Irish musician Bill Coleman. It was recorded mostly in the wilds of Co. Wicklow, Ireland throughout the first half of 2009 and finished off in the summer of 2010.
People have said it reminds them of Bell X1, Talking Heads, Joseph Arthur, 'a more electronicky Richard Thompson', Elvis Costello, a 'melodic middle ground between Paul Simon and Crystal Castles'.
Imagine a marriage of folk with rock and electronic influences and jump off from there.
Mirroring the time that goes into the writing and recording of an album, Coleman decided to make and decorate much of the physical packaging for the album himself.
