Organix是另类饶舌组合"The Roots"的首张专辑，其实这张专辑是在他们去德国进行现场表演录制的现场版本的专辑。团员基本上包办了整张专辑的制作，包括了后来大名鼎鼎的"Scott Storch"。尽管评论界对这张专辑评价不高，但是对于喜欢另类说唱的乐迷来说，这张专辑还是一个不错的选择。这张独立制作的专辑也让Roots成为了一些大厂牌纷纷拉拢的对象，最终他们选择了以发行grunge唱片为主的DGC开始了他们的成功之路。
