Wool Strings is Japanese indie pop band influenced by Pastels,Belle and sebastian,Heron,Nick drake,Beach boys,Velvet underground,Joao gilberto,and etc. This new album includes 8 new songs. "Wool Strings" is Japanese indie pop band by R.Ameda who is also the member of Japanese Shoegaze band "marconi". In this project he tries to mix the pop element with some different elements in each songs. Some are a little experimental,on the other hand,some are very simple and acoustic. The sounds influenced by many kinds of music,but they are sure to contain the pop element. For example,Pastels,Belle and sebastian,Softies,Yo la tengo,My bloody valentine,Galaxie 500,Teenage fanclub,Heron,Nick drake,Beach boys,Beatles,Velvet underground,Jonathan richman,Brian eno,Burt Bacharach,Haruomi hosono,Maher shala hash baz,John fahey,Joao gilberto,Antonio carlos jobim,Caetano veloso,and etc. All songs are written and played and recorded and mixed and mastered by Ameda at his private studio called "sea song studio".
